Murray Eldridge

Murray has 40 years of international experience, (25years at board level), in Shipping, Oil & Gas, Telecoms, Water and Consulting. He has held management and board roles in B2B engineering and service organisations. In addition to Managing Director roles he has held Marketing, Strategy and Commercial directorships and international non-executive roles. Murray has extensive experience in setting up and managing international joint ventures and alliances (UK, China, Japan, Indonesia).

Throughout his career, Murray has had extensive people, team and organisational leadership exposure in highly aggressive and competitive environments. This has included substantial people selection experience especially when building new joint ventures.

In addition to current business interests he is a qualified competitive British Rowing coach and ex-international rower and understands the fundamental importance of attitudes, attributes and motivation intimately. A passionate believer in the potential of people and organisations Murray has combined his knowledge of the competitive worlds of both business and sport in his book Leading High Performance (Crimson Publishing 2014).
In recent years, he has been a program leader for the Institute of Directors Chartered Director program focusing on Leadership and Strategy, a Senior Associate of the Brussels based Management Centre Europe and a non-executive director. Perfect People represents the pinnacle of his belief in and approach to realising the power and performance in the ‘engine room’ of organisations

Murray is a Chartered Director, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a holds an MBA.
